An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. We use the available balance method to determine whether your account is overdrawn, that is, whether there is enough money in your account to cover a transaction. We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined.

You have the right to revoke your decision for overdraft coverage on ATM and everyday debit card transactions at any time by contacting the credit union by phone or in person.
Be aware of imposters texting, calling or emailing pretending to be from Jackson River Community Credit Union, asking for your personal information or card number or asking you to click on a link. NEVER give out your personal information over the phone or click on a suspicious link in an email or text message.
